Sarah Rees, Resident in Counseling

Sarah is a Resident in Counseling in the state of Virginia and holds a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is skilled in helping others thrive, with over 6 years of expertise in emotional, social, and spiritual support for children, individuals, and families. Sarah’s clinical experience includes outpatient care for neurodivergent individuals, conducting longitudinal research in positive psychology, supporting clients as a clinic administrator, and group facilitation in academic, community, and faith-based settings.

Sarah meets clients with a warm, relational, and collaborative presence. She works with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety and panic, relationship concerns, depression, OCD, trauma/PTSD, ADHD, Autism, attachment issues, life transitions, cultural adjustment, and identity formation. Most importantly, Sarah values clients’ unique experiences and personalities, carefully tailoring her clinical approach to best fit their needs.
